FIRE IN GARAGE

OWNER RECEIVES BURNS

(By Feleirrnnh — l-'r^ss Association.)

HASTINGS, This Day.

Fed by large quantities of benzine and oil a fire destroyed a large garage at the Omahu Shingle Company's pit near Hastings yesterday. The owner of the garage, Mr. P. Lowe, was burned on the arm, but his injuries are not serious.

At the time of the fire a truck, a motor-car, and a tractor were being repaired. The truck and car were pushed out, but the tractor had to be left. It was stripped of everything that would burn.
