GRANDSTAND FOR PETONE
A notice published in a Gazette issued last night empowers the Petone Borough Council to raise a loan of £10,000 for the purpose of recreation ground improvements. The money to be borrowed is to be used to erect a new grandstand and dressing accommodation in the Recreation- Ground, and for making alterations to the cycle track to permit the Rugby football ground to be laid out north and south.
