The Wellington South African War Veterans' Association, by advertisement in this issue, reminds patrons that the last card evening lor the season will be held in the clubrooms, 125 Lambton Quay, tomorrow night at 7.45 o'clock.
A number of offenders appeared beXorc Mr. W. F. Stilwell. S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today charged with having unlicensed radio sets. Fines were imposed in the majority of cases, ranging from £1 10s down to costs only.
