QUIET MARKET
LAMB IN LONDON
The frozen lamb market ln London is quiet, but prime quality is steady, according to the weekly report received by the New Zealand Meat Producers' Board. Second quality is a shade easier. The demand is still affected by heavy supplies of Homekilled. Wethers are easier, excepting lightweights. Ewes are generally lower with slow trade. The frozen beef market is firm. Chilled beef realised better prices this week owing to shorter supplies and good trade. New Zealand porker pigs are mesting with fair trade at unchanged prices. For baconers the market is steady and un changed. „ ~ The board advises that the following are the ruling prices of wholesale quantities of the desmptions of frozen meat mentioned and are for represen tative parcels of the goods sold on Thursday.
