CLUBS OPENED

FIRST GAMES PLAYED

Five of the Wellington bowling clubs' were opened this afternoon, a good muster of members being present in each case. The recent fine weather has improved the greens, and those who took part in the first games found the playing surfaces in splendid.order. The Wellington Bowling Centre was represented at each green, the president (Mr. M. J. Casey) and the secretary (Mr. A. F. Spiller) making a round of the clubs.
