Sir,—lf the Hon. W. Nash cannot answer this query of mine, will you? Mr. Nash stated on Wednesday night that by advertising, the workers of Great Britain (realising that they are helping us) are asking for New Zealand butter; also, that, by shipping butter to Germany, prices on the London market advanced. Is this not unconsciously penalising the British worker? Mr. Nash also stated that the tax intended to be placed on our primary produce in England (which he so ably staved off?) would have been disastrous. If overseas prices fall by anything from £4,000,000 to £8,000,000 the Minister will before worried. —I am, etc., ' • '
