RIFLE SHOOTING
OLD NAVALS CLUB
Bright sunshine, with a moderate breeze, marked the opening of the 1938-39 season of the Old Navals Rifle Club. A double practice at 300 yards was held. The attendance was excellent. The number of new and young shots was an encouraging sign. The standard of marksmanship was not so high as last year but M. Monk's performance was excellent. He took the honours for both the single and the double range scores, dropping merely
three points. • * The club season has been divided into four series of five Saturdays, four to count. The season commences on October 15.
