CHAMPION A SAMOYED
j The Wellington Kennel Club's annual championship show was concluded last night, after two successful days. The' champion dog of the show was a Samoyed dog, Rex of the Arctic, an imported English champion, bred from eh Leader of the Arctic and eh Ice Crystal of the Arctic, and owned by Mr. F. N. Woodhouse, of Anderson's Bay, Dunedin. Further winners in the various breeds are as follows: — Alsatians' Elementary Obedience Test.—Miss L. A. Nicholas's Te Rauparaha Huia. Best Cocker Spaniel, Best Sporting Animal in Wellington District, and Best Animal in Novice Class.—Dr. R.i G. Hampton's Seaspray of Ware. Best opposite sex: Mrs. G. A. Saunders's Beltone Red Dawn.
