TWO FEATURES
Her Excellency Lady Galway will mak;e another of her occasional visits to the 2YA studios on Tuesday, October 11, for the purpose of broadcasting a brief talk on "The Girl Guide Movement." Lady Galyay is a keen advocate of this feminine counterpart of the Boy Scout organisation, and hfer observations will be of great interest to all.
Surprising as it may seem, it is a fact that many owners of radio' sets are blissfully unaware of the proper use of their receivers. Such a small matter as correct tuning is often the fly in the ointment, and in order to assist listeners in the correct use and treatment of their sets, several recorded plays have been prepared for broadcasting. One of these, "This Reception Business," will be heard from 2YA at 7.40 p.m. on October 14, and listeners will derive entertainment and helpful knowledge from giving their attention to this feature.
