LAUCHLAN CUP MATCH
The annual golf contest for the Lauchlan Cup, between the social clubs of Wellington, was held at the Miramar links yesterday afternoon. The match resulted in a win for the Work- | ing Men's Club A team with a net aggregate of 313. A strong wind made I conditions difficult for play, but some excellent cards were returned. There was a large gathering in the club's social hall after the match, and the president of the Miramar Golf Club, Mr. A. E. Mabin, expressed the pleasure it gave to members of the club to once again welcome, the clubmen to the-links., The winning team and the donor of the cup,, Mr. J. B.
