COMPLIMENTARY CONCERT.

Tonight in the Town Hal 3; Wellington musicians and citizens generally will forgather to express * their appreciation of Mr. H. Teanple White's completion of' 25 years' iwOrk in the cause of music in New Zealand. This unanimous tribute will take the form of a grand concert, the programme of which is to be perfowned by the Dominion's leading artists. Neyer before, perhaps, in this country's musical history, has such an array of outstanding talent been combined in one programme for a similar jpurpose. Assisting i artists: Massed choir of 400 voices; Conductor, Stanley Olivfer; the Light Symphony Orchestra,' conductor, Leon de Mauny; Paul and Diny Schramm, piano duo; Myra sawyer, soprano; A-va Symons, violinist; Geoffrey Oolledge, baritone; Clement Howe, organist; Tudor Singers, conductor, H. 'Temple White; Gertrude Johnston, pianist; accompanist, Harold Whittle. Programme items will include choruses; from "Messiah" (Handel) and "E^.jah" (Mendelssohn), orchestral numbers by Schubert, Jarnefeldt, and Ljjszt, an excerpt from Cesar Franck's Sonata for violin and piano; various siblo vocal items, and two examples of music for two pianos, contributed by { the famous duopianists, Paul and Diny Schramm.
