FRIESLAND FORWARD

DISTURBED AS A JUMPER

(Special from "Limited.")

HAWERA, October 5,

Hawera horses have not been as successful this season as in the past, but there is plenty of material in training in the centre, and it is probable that they will be seen to more advantage as the term progresses. Over thirty gallopers are listed for the Waverley Meeting, and several oth..-■_. are under orders for Trentham. Friesland has benefited iron, tits outing at Otaki, and he has been freely nominated for the New Zealand Cup Meeting. It is understood that n. make his next appearance in the Waverley Cup. He is very well. Disturbed is making strides in his education as a jumper, and he promises to do good service for H. Scally in his new sphere. He will probably make his debut over hurdles at Waverley. He has been schooling with Student Prince of late, and has been shaping every bit as well as the latter. | O. Cox will probably split his team for the Labour Day Meetings. Dark I Eagle, Prime Quality, Algerian, and Kilometre are entered for Trentham, and Amoroso, Friesland, and Prime Quality at Waverley. Dark Eagle has been pleasing in his latest track efforts, and he should be on the winning list before long. Gold Glare has freshened up as the result of a short let-up, and he is infusing plenty of dash into his training. He is to go to Trentham.
