Sir,-—'Would some learned friend please oblige me with the following information, as I want to get this fact clear? The National Party says'that the Labour Government is spending too much money and that the country will not stand the strain. Yet the National Party says that it will lend to all newly-married couples a hundred pounds of furniture and allow so much off for each, child that is born.. Where will the National Party get the'money from if the Labour Government has spent more money than the country can afford? —I am, etc-,
