TUI GLEN LADIES' CLUB
The results of the various matches played last Sunday by the Tui Glen ladies are as follows: —Semi-final of championship, Mrs. McKinnon beat Mrs. Latta, 2 and 1, and Mrs. Purdie beat Mrs. l)avis, 4 and 3; second round, Priscilla rose bowl, Miss McCubbin beat Mrs. Daily 5 and 4, Mrs. Tilyard beat Miss Hutchins 4 up, Mrs. Swinburne won by default from Miss Greig, and Mrs. Pope beat Mrs. Petersen 4 and 3; Mrs. Purdie's trophy, Mrs. Davis beat Mrs. R. Elbe 6 and 4, Mrs. McKinnon beat Mrs. Pope 7 and 6, Mrs. Young beat Miss Ramsay 2 and 1, and Miss Stickings beat Miss McCubbin 3 and 1.
In the flag competition Miss Stickings carried the flag to the nineteenth fairway. The weekly competition was won by Mrs. Davison, Mrs. Tilyard being second. Reductions in handicap: Miss Stickings, from 36 to 32; Miss Ramsay, from 34 to 31.
Next Sunday a friendly match is to be played against Featherston at Tui Glen and the team which represented the club at Featherston will again represent the club on the home links, the team being as follows: —Mrs. Purdie, Mrs. Davis, Mrs. McKinnon, Miss Clark, Miss Ramsay, Miss Stickings, Miss Hadwin, and Miss Greig.
Next Sunday the third round of the Priscilla rose bowl will be played, the draw being as follows:—Mrs. Tilyard v. Miss McCubbin; Mrs. Swinburne v. Mrs. Pope. A hidden-hole competition will be played in conjunction with the above, and partners will be arranged at the club house. Play will commence at 9.30.
