A TRAP
A trap for hecklers was laid by Mr. W. L. Barker, National candidate for Wellington East, when speaking at Miramar last evening. "Is it right," he asked, "that Professor Algie should go around the country getting £1500 a year for speaking on behalf of the National Party?"
Cries of "No, no," rose spontaneously from a noisy section of the audience, which had been constantly interrupting the speaker.
"Well, then,'' Mr. Barker went on, "is it right that Mr. Scrymgeour should receive £1500 a year from ths taxpayers and spend his time on spreading propaganda for the Labour Party?'
