MR. COMBS AT LOWER HUTT

An excellent reception was accorded Mr. H. E. Combs. Labour candidate for Wellington Suburbs, when he addressed a meeting at Lo\yer Hutt last evening. Hs dealt at-length-with the pledges the Labour Party had honoured in its term of office, stressing particularly the rehabilitation of industry generally and the benefits that had been bestowed on the workers.

Mrs. M. Dowse presided, and a vote of confidence in the candidate was carried on the motion of ,Mx\ G. Wright.
