GOLD DREDGING RETURNS.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) ,GREYMOUTH, October 4. The Barrytown dredge reports a return for September of 5540z from 191,000 cubic yards worked in 415 hours. HOKITIKA, October 4. The Rimu dredge return was 303.90z from 53,915 cubic yards worked in 135^-hours. I TIMARU, October 5. ; The Goldfields . Dredging Company reports'a wash-up of'2bz sdwt secured while passing through old diggings. The directors of Wellington Alluvials, Limited, announce that during the four weeks ended September 17, the dredge worked 541 hours, handling 271,000 cubic yards and recovered bullion estimated to contain 13470z of fine gold. x
