RED CROSS MEETING

A meeting has been convened to take place at St. Aidan's schoolroom, Miramar Avenue, tomorrow, at 2.30 p.m., for the purpose of forming a branch of the New Zealand Red Cross Society in the district. This is another step m the direction of encircling the city with branches of the society so that in the event of an emergency a trained and efficient personnel will be ready to operate. A representative of the Wellington centre executive will attend and explain the society's work, after which a committee will be set up to carry on.
