WAIWETU LADIES' CLUB

The weekly ball competition played by the Waiwetu ladies during the weekend was won by Miss I. Chittey, with 93, 24—69. In the junior section the weekly ball was won by Miss B. Lewis, with 107, 36—71. Points for the Winter Cut> were gained by Miss Chittey 3, Miss Lewis 2, and Miss Thodey 1. In the semi-final of the club championship, Miss Milne beat Mrs. Rudolph, 6 and 5; and Miss Horman beat Miss Thodey, 1 up. In the semi-final of the C grade championship, Miss Lewis beat Miss Burke, 6 and 5; and Mrs. Hull Brown beat Miss R. Crick, 7 and 5.
