PEA-RIFLE ACCIDENT

(By Telegraph.) (Special to the "Evening Post.") , BLENHEIM, This Day. Through a rifle he was carrying discharging when he stumbled while crossing a stream some distance from his home on Saturday, Wilfred Hart, farmer, of Deep Creek, received painful injuries from a .22 calibre bullet which entered his body and lodged in the groin. The mishap occurred shortly after 2 o'clock. Mr. Hart was crossing a stream on a neighbour's property. He stumbled, lost his grip of the rifle, and as it hit the ground the impact was sufficient to make it go off. His calls for assistance were heard and he was brought to the Wairau Hospital. His condition today was satisfactory,
