BRIDGE GROUP. PARTY
FREE AMBULANCE
Great interest was shown in the first open afternoon held recently by the bridge group of the ladies' auxiliary Wellington Free Ambulance, most of the members availing themselves of the opportunity of bringing along one or more friends. A very enjoyable time was spent, the prize-winners being Mrs. Howitt (contract), Miss G. Liverton (auction), and the hidden number, Mrs. W. Gilbert.
Among those who assisted in making up the tables were Lady Norwood,
Mesdames Avery, A. Mitchell, A. B. Duff, L. Quinlan, A. Pearson, W. Hustler Smith, W. H. Phillips, E. M. Sample, H. Parkin, P. C. Tustin, H. H. Coote, Sydney Smith, W. E. Southwick, R. H. Ellis, E. J. Archibald, S. R. Liverton, Cameron, L. Evans, J. G. Osborne, Newell, G. M. Graham, H. R. Wright, J. Munt, M. J. Phelan, Ham, Hannah, and Misses L. Stubbs and M. If Smith. Several new members joined the group and will be welcomed at the next meeting—Mesdames W. R. Newell, Clarke, O'Donnell, C. H. Ham, W. C. Barry, R. Haughton, and Misses Renouf and Connell.
