STOCK EXCHANGE

PRICES EASIER

MARKET TAKES A SOBER VIEW (By Telegraph—l^ress Assn.—Copyright.) (Received October 4, 10 a.m.) LONDON, October 3. The London Stock Exchange is taking a more sober view of the Munich settlement than it did on the anouncement. Prices of stocks and shares generally are easier than they were. The "Financial Times" points out that the viewpoint of Mr. A. DuffCooper, who resigned from the post of First Lord of the Admiralty because of "profound disgust" of the Government's foreign policy, is widely held in the City. The financial Press appears to be unanimous that the economic future of Czechoslovakia is a matter of international concern.
