TESCHEN OCCUPIED
CZECH MINERS FLEE
(Received October 3, 1 pan.) PRAGUE, October 2. Polish troops occupied the Teschen district at 5 a.m. today. Hundreds .of Czech miners are fleeing from Moray ska and Ostrava. , The Polish troops marched into Teschen in force at 2 pjn. The main street was beflagged -with the Polish colours and was lined with cheering crowds. ■ Territory to a depth of ten miles has been occupied in Teschen and Silesia by the troops. Additional areas in I Teschen and Frystat will be annexed on October 10. Plebiscites will be held in other doubtful areas. Newspapers emphasise that this "i* Poland's last claim.
