The Wellington Cash Cycling Club's] 35-mile road race on Saturday afternoon was won by W. Sinclair, who also j gained fastest time. The scratch men rode well together to gain the places and fastest times, I. Caulton showing improved form to secure fourth place. G. Staveley had the misfortune to puncture just after the start. Results are as follows:— W. Sinclair (scr), lhr 21min 2sec, 1; F. Roberts (scr), lhr 21min ssec, 2; H. Houston (scr), lhr 21mia 6sec, 3; I. Caulton (4min), lhr 25min 7sec, 4.
