NEW SWIMMING RECORD
I (Received October 3,, 12.10 p.m.) COPENHAGEN, October 2. Miss Ragneld Hveger set a new world swimming record by covering 300 yards free-style in 3min 25 3-lOsec. The previous record, 3min 27sec, was j established by Miss W. den Ouden (Holland) in 1935.
