A flag match on the Hutt links lor the captain's trophy was won by P. J: R. Fordham, who carried the flag to the nineteenth green. His handicap was reduced.
A stableford event yesterday morning was, won by S. A. Wiren, 125,: 13—*38,
A fourball best-ball bogey competition yesterday afternoon was won by H. K. Adamson (5) and W. H. Lees (10), with 5 up.
In the semi-finals of the Wilford Cup competition, Chandler and Wiren beat Ewen and Rutherford. 6 and 5; Ansell and McLean beat Ellerm and Macallan, 4 and 3.
In the. second round of the senior club championship, I. A. Ewen beat W. K. Cook, 4 and 3; S. C. Taylor beat R. D. Chandler, 1 up; J. F. Pym beat H. K. Adamson, 2 up; W. G. Home beat J. L. Black, at the twenty-third.
The first and second rounds of the intermediate and1 junior championships .were played.
