BELMONT CLUB

The final 36 holes for the Belmont Cup (which is competed for annually by medal play over 72 holes) were played at the Belmont links yesterday. Miss N- Marshall (30) won the contest with net rounds of 62, 64, 63, 65— 254. . . .-.,... ■

The trophy for the best pross score went to R. Shannon (5). who had rounds of 71. 76. 72, 71—290. and the trophy for the best gross round was won by N. G. Rudman (5), who covered the course in 70 in the first round. A medal competition, in conjunction with the morning! round of the cup contest, was won by G. R. Clark with 84, 22—62. A medal competition in conjunction with the afternoon round was won by Mrs. J. Clark with 93, 36—57.
