ENERGETIC WOMAN CYCLIST
A task of cycling 100 miles a day for 100 days was recently accomplished by Mrs. Evelyn Hamilton, 32-year-old wife of a Streatham plumber. Since May 7 Mrs. Hamilton covered 10,704 miles, her finishing post being Westminster Palace Yard. She took a flask of tea and a packet of sandwiches each day and had a meal on the road on the way home. She left home each day at 8.30 a.m. and returned about 7.30 p.m. in time to cook her husband's dinner, after having cycled her 100 miles to London.
