TE MARUA LADIES' CLUB

The monthly L.G.U. medal round of the Te Marua Ladies' Club will be played tomorrow.

The draw for the first round of the championship is as follows:—Mrs. Cornaga and Mrs. Howard; Miss Robertson \ and Mrs. Wheeler; Miss Paul and Miss Gill; Mrs. Austad and Mrs. Pearce.

These games must be completed by the 16th inst.

LEVIN LADIES' CLUB

The match between the Levin and Foxton Ladies' Clubs, played on Wednesday, resulted in a draw, four games each. Individual results, Levin players being mentioned first, are as follows: — Mrs. Mackenzie lost to Mrs. Bergan, Miss N. Park beat Miss A. Naylor, Mrs. Astley lost to Miss G. Naylor, Mrs. Nicholson beat Mrs. N. Robinson, Miss Bevan beat Miss Bowes, Mrs. Park lost to Mrs. W. Smith, Mrs. Herrick beat Mrs. Elliott, ■ Miss Nalder lost to Mrs. Anderson. The senior championship was won by Miss Nicholson, with Miss N. Park runner-up, and the junior championship was won by Miss Robson, with Miss Oyston runner-up.
