KARORI RED CROSS APPEAL
An appeal is made in this issue to the ladies of Karori district particularly, for gifts of cakes, flowers, plants, vegetables, jam, and preserves, etc., in aid of the Karori Red Cross sub-centre's "bring-and-buy" stall to be held on Friday, October 7, on Dr. W. H. Blinman Bull's property, 165 Main Road, Karori. The depot for donations is 1 Hatton Street.
, The sub-centre's committee is making a special effort to collect funds to be immediately available in emergency, and public support is earnestly solicited.
Hedy Lamarr, famous Continental actress, who recently made her American debut in a film shortly to be released in Wellington.
