WELLINGTON BURNS CLUB.

There was a good attendance at the monthly concert of the Wellington Burns Club last night. Mr. D. McLaren was in the chair. Miss Dorothy Spinks acted as accompanist, and the following singers contributed to the programme:—Miss Marjorie Clifford (soprano), Mr. Harry Matthews (baritone), Mr. L. Whyte (tenor), Mr. Roy Dallow (bass). Miss Calvert (soprano), and Miss Janet Stirling (soprano). Mr. Paul Magill gave several pianoforte solos. The president, Mr. R. H. Nimmo, gavo an interesting talk on "A Trip to Honolulu." Italian millers who grind wheat which has not passed through Government granaries are liable to have their mills closed for periods ranging from [ six to 15 months.
