The Church of Christ, Ponsonby, Auckland, was- •> tastefu,lly ■ decorated with richly-coloured dahlias, pink and blue. hydrangeas, and* gladioli, at the wedding of Ruby Evelyn, daughter of Mr. arid Mrs. Y. The bride, who was; escorted by. Mr. R. Watkinson, of Kaukapakapn,; wore a graceful gown of ivory satin, with a pin-tucked Medici collar and an array of orange blossom at the neck-line. The frock had six.paaels, two in.the front being pin-tucked semi-horizon tally to the waistline, enhancing the effect of the well-cut gown' which flared to a train at the back: ■ Her veil was fitted to a coronet of orange blossom1 and .she carried a lovely shenf of lilies and fern.
