The army j ourhal belatedly gives ani account of the privations of 400 Italians who were surrounded at Lalibela by Abyssinian rebels in the rainy season.. During the whole of August and September aeroplanes flew 200 miles front Diredawa daily, dropping food and!, munitions to the beleaguered men, andf harassing the besiegers.
During the same period the Italians, as a measure of protection, dropped)? 6834 bombs in the vicinity of the rail-, way line between Addis Ababa and Mojjo.
