Dr. Elizabeth Gunn, Director of School Hygiene, Wellington, is making a tour of inspection -of health camps in the South Island. She left Canterbury for Otago and Southland on Wednesday.
Canon and Mrs. Redgrave and Miss Dorothy Redgrave, Christchurch, who have been visiting Wellington, left for the south by the inter-island steamer on Wednesday.
Mrs. Tailby, Harotonga, is visiting her mother, Mrs. M. A. Pearson, Wellington Terrace.
Sir R. Heaton Rhodes and Miss V. Hynes, Otahuna,-Tai Tapu, will leave on February 7 by the Maunganui for Australia, via - Bluff.
Mrs. Frank. Wall, Martinborough, who has been staying at her house in Kinross Street, has returned home.
Miss Elizabeth Plummer, Tokomaru Bay, is the guest of Miss Whitelaw, Arney Road, Remuera, while she is in Auckland for the tennis championships.
Mrs. R. Crawford-Young, Wellington, with Miss Beverley Boyd, is visiting Mrs. Warren Boyd, Dunedin.
Mrs Norman Burton, Auckland, and her sister, Mrs. S. Saulbrey, Ngaruawahia, arrived in Wellington on Wednesday to join the Waiwera for England.
Mrs. C. W. Harming, Kelburn, a Wellington visitor to Auckland, has been the guest of Mrs. Noel SpringRice, Hobsonville, and will spend a few da->-s with Mrs. A. I. Logan, Remuera, before returning to Wellington. Mrs. Noel Gouffe, of Bondi, Sydney, has arrived in Wellington and is spending a month's holiday with her sister, Mrs. James Taylor.
Mrs. Alfred L. Braham, Remuera,'arrived by plane this afternoon from Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. Braham will make their future home, at 28, Aitken Street, Wellington. Mr and Mrs. R. J. Thomson, Wellington, are making a holiday visit to Wairoa.
Mr J. R. Rooper, managing director of the Port Line, Ltd., London, and Mrs Rooper, who were the guests of Lady Kinsey, Christchurch, left on Wednesday for Mount Cook accompanied by Sir Cyril and Lady Ward and Mr. J. G. D. Ward. Mr. Ward will travel with them on a tour through the Southern Lakes district to Invercargill. They will return to Christchurch on February 7, and will leave for Wellington on February 10 to join the Port Jackson on their return trip to England.
Mrs Stafford Matthews, of Remuera, Auckland, and her small daughter, Barbara, is making a short visit to Wellington, and is the guest of Mrs. R. J. Williamson, Hataitai.
Mrs. Guy Knight, Wellington, is staying with her sister, Mrs. Charles Chapman, Timaru. Dr Phyllis Moir has been appointed school medical officer by the Education Department for the Wanganui Education Board district.
Mrs J H. Penniker, who has been spending a holiday at Parparaumu, has returned to Hamilton. >
Mr and Mrs. A. P. Whitehead and Mrs. R. G. Whitehead, Stokes Valley, are spending a holiday at Rotorua. Miss Joan Webster, New Plymouth, will spend a holiday at Palmerston North and Wellington before returning home. Mrs. H. A. Ryan, Dunedin. who has been visiting Wellington, left on Wednesday with Dr. Ryan for Auckland.
Mrs. V. Dunstall, Upper Hutt, is visit-. ing her mother, Mrs. F. J. Field, Ohaupo, Waikato.
Mrs. A. Burdekin has returned to Wellington from Mangatoki, Taranaki, where she was the guest of Mrs. A. C. Pease;/

Mrs. L. Philp, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. Lawson, Morrinsville.
Mrs. P. A Joblin is a Dunedin visitor to Wellington.

Miss Ada Hall, Christchurch, has been spending a holiday in Wellington.
Misses J. Service, M. Taylor (Qfiristchurch), and G. Nagle (Dunedin) are staying at the Empire Hotel.
