This is 'the second'large' cargo- which has been exported recently, in an effort to relieve a serious shortage in Canada, arid at ;the current London .quotation it will mean a return of over £80,000 to.the Dominion. • • ! | -The Surrey will arrive at Auckland from Waikokqpu on Sufiday, and is expected to'sail at the end of next week to complete loading at Timaru, .Bluff, and Lytteltoh.' ' The vessel has beeu diverted to-Halifax, ' where, she is scheduled to'arrive about March 23. A previous shipment of 375 tons of butter was taken by the Aorangi, which left Auckland for • Vancouver on Tuesday. Although it Was expected that a further shipment of about 250 tons would be made to Canada later, no arrangements- have yet been made, by the Primary Products Marketing Department." •••,■■•: ■ By the time the butter which is being taken by the Surrey reaches Canada late in .March, spring production .there will probably be well able to meet all requirements, and no further substantial, exports are expected to be made frohr New' Zealand.
