THE WARSPITE'S TROUBLES
The battleship Warspite, which has already had two breakdowns on trials after her reconstruction, has now had to be put into dry dock, as a leak developed after the ship had run a highspeed trial (says the "Manchester Guardian"). It is understood that the ship vibrated considerably when going at full power, and it-is suspected that some rivets have given way. The leak was not an extensive one and the ship was. never in any danger, but it was, of course, essential that the source of the leak should be traced and the repairs made before the Warspite could be passed for service. Earlier delays in completing her were caused first by a serious breakdown in her propelling machinery, and, after that had been made good, by engine-room defects. The Warspite was scheduled to join the Mediterranean Fleet, in July.-. ■ . . : v-
