.When asked. today to comment on the message from Apia stating that the Mau Maleitoa: Party was not in agree-, ment with the demands of the'Samoan delegation at present in Wellington, Mr. O. F. Nelson, leader of the delegation, said that the new party was confined to two villages and represented only 4 per cent, of the population of Samoa. ' •''
The Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage) said that he did not know anything. about: the party but even >if there' were only: a few in it they had a right to be heard. However, he did not think there was any necessity for. a further, delegation to go to the expense' of coining to Wellington.
