In the men's doubles, at;the Austra* Han tennis championships, J. H. Craw-j ford and V. B. McGrath beat H. Hopman and L. A. Schwartz, .6-2, 6-2, ,6-4. In another championship doubles game, J. D. Budge: and C.G. Makto, defeated-D. P. Turnbull. and, Huxley, 6-2, 6-4, 6-4. , ~ f. . , Clemenger and Harper (Victoria) walked off the court when they were in the tactically.' ascendant position against G. Cramm and H. Henkel at 6-4, 3-6,r 6-i, 3-6, 10-10. The light was bad and Clemenger, not wishing-to take the Germans at a'disadvantage, refused to serve. The final set will be replayed. ■ In the mixed doubles, J. Bromwich and Miss J. Wilson defeated Budge an Miss Bundy, 6-0, 6-2. > . ;..-,
