LORD McGOWAN'S DUTIES
LONDON, January '26. Owing to the tremendous strain of his dual posts, Lord. McGowan is resigning the managing directorship of Imperial Chemical Industries, but will remain chairman of i)he combine. The "Daily Mail" says that in future it is expected that Loj:d McGowan will preside as chairman «>ver a committee oJI executive directori;, each of whom ,will control a. particular-.-section.
