The King spent over three hours at the Royal Air Force College at Cranvell, to which he flew from Sandringham. In the course of his inspection he met several members o.C the start whom he had known when rre served at/Cranwell as an officer in the Royal Air Force in. 1917 and 1918. Later he rctumed-.by_ air ta.Saudringh.am.
