SERVICE IN CHINA
WELLINGTON DOCTOR
The medical committee, acting on behalf of the' Joint. .Council of the Order of St. John and New Zealand Red Cross Society, has approved of the application of Dr. Hector C. Tremewa,n for service in the Far East.
Dr. Tremewan holds the degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, and will leave Wellington by the Wanganella on. February 12 to join Dr. Robert Gray,-the! surgeon : who left Wellington recently for service in China. ; . ' •, Dr. Tremewan is at present employed as a house surgeon at the Wellington Public Hospital and is a; New Zealander by birtlv'his home being in Lower Hutt. He will be provided with medical equipment and supplies and will also takte with, him quantities of bandages and equipment given by the citizens of the Dominion.
