The committee discussed the position with Mr. Fitch. .-.The coaches appointed by the clubs to attend classes under Mr. Fitch were.present As a result of the discussion a new programme of coaching was agreed upon. ; ■ On Monday evenings Mr. Fitch us to give "instruction to the1 coaches appointed "by the dubs to help-him. This will be given at Wellington .College and he will- take on the average three events each Monday on the ground, from 7 o'clock to 9 o'clock, and this will ■be followed by art instructional talk and the exhibition of action films. , , From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday* Mr Fitch will be coaching club members in track events at Hataitai Park, and on Wednesday evenings from 6 o'clock to 9 o'clock he will be coaching at Petone or Lower -Hutt, the venue being left to the.Petone and Hutt clubs to determine. From 6 pjn. to S pm. on Thursdays the coach, will take field events at Hataitai, ana from 8 o'clock to 9.30 he will be lecturing and showing films, in. the gymnasium. On Fridays, from 6 p.m.. to 8 pan., general coaching will be given at Wellington College. -■■■ Tomorrow night, after he has given coaching in field events, Mr. Fitch mil show some of his films in the Hataitai gymnasium: He put one film through in the gymnasium last evening, and speaking of it today the chairman of the Wellington Centre executive, Mr. F. Bond, and the chairman of the athletic sub-committee, Mr. A B Chappell, said that they had been very 'impressed; Mr. Fitch certainly had some most enlightening films which- they felt should be of great interest and benefit to all athletes.
