DUNEDIN, This Day,

The Minister of Labour (the Hon. H. T. Armstrong) met the local bodies this morning to discuss the absorbing of labour on different works, the Government to pay £4 a week and the local bodies to make up the difference.

He leaves tomorrow for Invercargill to meet local bodies there.

Andrea Kennedy, a child, aged 7, of 75 Happy Valley Road, fractured her left arm as the result of a fall at Happy Valley at 7.45 a.m. today. The Free Ambulance was summoned and took her to hospital.
