In accordance with a recommendation made by the City Engineer the following drainage reserves have been declared access ways:—Kenya Street to Waikowhai Street, Barnard Street to Sar Street, Kaihuia Street to West Road, Upland Road to Rawhiti Terrace, Rawhiti Terrace to Kelburn Parade, Central Terrace to Upland Road, Central Terrace to Glasgow Street, Central Terrace to Kelburn Parade, Gaudin Street to Rongotai Terrace, Rongotai Terrace to Calabar Road, and Queen's Drive to Sutherland Road.

On a charge of being found without lawful excuse on premises belonging to the Amalgamated Brick and Pipe Co, Ltd., in Taranaki Street, Mylcs Walsh, a labourer, aged 64, appeared before Mi*. E. D. Mosley, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today, and was sentenced to a month's imprisonment.
