Mrs. Fitzherbert, Palmerston North, is visiting Wellington and staying with Mrs. Marchbanks. Hobson Street.

Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Bates, with their son John, are leaving by the Wanganella this evening lor an extended tour" of Australia.

Mrs. T. G. McKellar, Dunedin, has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. J. Harding, Wellington.

Mrs. M. Bell and Mrs. N. Gabites, Hastings, are visiting Miss Bell, Aurora Terrace. *

Mesdames P. C. Sorrcll, M. Berry, and R. A. Rosewarne, Napier, have returned home from a short visit to Wellington.

Miss P. McEvedy, Wellington, is visiting Christchurch.

Miss Marjorie Bailey, Hawera, is spending a holiday in Wellington.

Mrs. R. Gordon and her brother, Mr. Harold Adams, Christchurch, who are visiting their aunt in" Taranaki, will go on to Auckland before returning south.

Sir Charles and Lady Campbell, who have recently arrived from England, are the guests of Mrs. P. A. Elworthy, Timaru, for a brief visit.

Mrs. Spencer Westmacott, King Country, is visiting Christchurch and is staying at Warwick House. Mrs. Leslie Curtiss, who arrived from New Plymouth yesterday morning, is also at Warwick House.

Mrs. C. Johnston, Wellington, has returned from a visit to Timaru.

Mrs. H. A. Hall, Wellington, arrived in Auckland yesterday by the Van Rees, en route for Sydney and Singapore.

Mr. arid Mrs. Charles Taylor, Christchurch, will leave tonight by the Wanganella for a trip to Sydney. Their daughter, Mrs. Lance Sewell, who accompanied them to Wellington, will go on to Napier for a visit.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy V. Robertson, Eastbourne, have left to make their future home in New Plymouth.

Miss H. W. May is a Wellington visitor to Christchurch.

Mrs. J. Wooler, Auckland, is visiting Wellington, and is staying at the Hotel St. George.

Mesdames Robert Turner (Feilding), T. H. Lowry and W. Nelson (Hastings), E. Lee Steere (Perth), S. F. Solomon (Dunedin), Earl (Christchurch), Miss Watson (Sydney), Miss E. Card (Featherston), and Miss Earl (Christchurch) are among the guests at the Midland Hotel.

Mrs. J. Vallance (Masterton), Mrs. J. J. Faulkner (Hastings), Mrs. J. Hawkins (New Plymouth), and Miss C. Hawkins (New Plymouth) are guests at the Royal Oak Hotel.
