JUDGE SHOT AT

CONSPIRACY AT PUERTO RICO

NEW YORK,-June 9,

It is reported from San Juan, Puerto Rico, in the West Indies, that after eight members Of the Nationalist Party had been imprisoned for terms rangirig from six to ten years for conspiracy to overthrow the United States Government of Puerto Rico, four unidentified men fired a dozen shots at the United States Judge, Mr. Justice F. Cooper.

The shooting was wild and, the Judge was not injured. Investigations throughout the island haVe begun.
