RUGBY, June 8.

The King has approved the appointment of Captain C. H. G. Millis, D.5.0., M.C., M.A., to be vice-chairman and a governor of the Broadcasting Corporation for a. period of five years. He. is succeeding Mi1. Harold Brown, who retired at the end of iast year on completion of his year's term as a governor of the cbrpbratipn. Captain Millis, who is 43 years of age, is managing director of the banking firm of Baring Bros, and Co., Ltd.
