IBSEN REVIVAL.
Ibsen's play, "An Enemy of the People," was recently revived* in New York, with Walter Hampden, the Shakespearean actor and exponent :of "Cyrano de Bergerac," in the leading role. It is the story of the courageous Dr. Stockmann, who takes arms against the political majority and the good citizens of his native town, and asserts his right to expose their support of its public baths, which they know to be contaminated and dangerous to health.
