RONALD COLMAN.

Other actors rush in where Ronald Colman fears to tread—the studio projection room where daily "rushes" (scenes "shot" during the day)'of current productions are shown. Colman doesn't stay away from the screening of his scenes through any sense of modesty. "They leave me depressed," he says. "I always see so much that could be done in the scenes to improve them that I-come away from the projection room with a hopeless feeling." Now appearing in Frank Capra's monumental Columbia production, "Lost Horizon," Colman says he did not always avoid seeing "rushes" 'of his work. When he started his screen career he ■was the first one of the" cast in the projection room each evening after the day's shooting had ended. He was anxious to search for flaws in his work. Colman now, however, prefers to learn from superior directors like Capra, who, he feels, should know more about it than any actor. Supporting him in "Lost Horizon" are Jane Wyatt, Edward Everett Horton, H. B. Warner, Sam Jaffe, Margo, Isabel Jewell. John Howard, and Thomas Mitchell.

The extra efforts. made by church choirs in both Wanganui and Marton during Coronation Week have added permanently to the musical life of the towns, states "The Post's" representative. In Wanganui the idea is for an exchange of visits between church choirs, and in Marton, so unanimous was the desire that the combined Coronation choir should not disband, that a meeting was called, and a Choral Society was formed. The first practice was held last week, when glees, choruses, etc. were started, and later it is hoped to launch into oratorio. This society will fill a long felt want in Martor
