There was a very good attendance of members and friends at a recent'meeting of the Island Bay-Eerhampore branch of the League .of Mothers in Ihe Masonic .H?li Nmc. new members were in.due.ted Songs by Mis J Wainwright and-ref-lations by Mis. Coomber were greatly I appreciated , Mrs Rollings spoke on "The Golden Silence, or a Message of Comfort for the Bereaved." Her talk was based on the comforting verses, r"Let not your heart be troubled," stress being placed on the lines, "If it were not so, I would have told you." "There is nothing to fear in death," she stated. Rather should it be a joy in the knowledge that the Lord awaited the coming of his children on the other side with infinite love." In giving some of hei hospital experiences she presented some vivid and touching pictures She interspersed her talk with several little verses and concluded with the poem "Said the Children up jnJpven. .
